MY FIRST NECKLACE!

I made my first necklace =) Earlier this year I went to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico and picked up these charms that reminded me of asian lifesavers for whatever reason. Anyway, I picked up a couple of the charms for my bf's nieces, but never found the right chain to pair it with. Ended up going to Michael's craft store yesterday and they sold the chains in a roll. All I had to do was purchase the clasps to close the necklace. Ok, so I didn't MAKE the necklace, but I def. assembled the necklace chain.

Believe it or not with some jewelry tools (wires to bend the wires, clamp to close the wires shut & cutters to trim the necklace) this is my final product =) Looks pro if you ask me. Doesn't it look like I bought the chain as is? Not - I did it =)

I found another new hobby!

MAN OH MAN - Men's Fall Fashion

RVCA: I love the colors on this shirt. Paired with dark jeans and sweet sneaks, my heart goes pitter-patter.

MODERN AMUSEMENT: I think this cardigan is classy, sassy and the color block just works. I've always loved this brand - their signature crow always was a bit creepy, but the style of the clothing can make any guy look good!

FIBER & FELLOW: Button up fitted tops - YUM. Tops that are tailored to a man's body - so right and so tight. Love!

Drifter: light cardigan sweater - Such a fall essential and goes great over a simple shirt.

Alternative: I always have and always will love GREY sweaters on guys. It looks so easy and relaxed.

If I were a guy, these pieces of clothing would be so up my alley. I like the relaxed, but tailored look on men espescially when guys have nice arms. What's great with guys clothing is they can wear it so many ways - preppy, rocker, urban, boho by changing a shirt underneath or the type of shoes or jeans they rock it with. Guys are so easy-going with their looks - they look like they aren't (or they shouldn't) trying so hard. Guys who have steel-o has an upper hand - at least in my books =)

What a weekend. I stayed in and did a lot of much needed clean up around the apartment. I didn't realize how much stuff including junk I had. Ok, I did, but I didn't really see it until it was laid all out. There's no denying I'm def. a pack rat, but I'm trying to clean up and part ways. Constantly thinking to myself "Can't throw away these items because I spent so much money, have fond memories and pretending that some clothes 1-2-3 sizes too small would fit one day in the far future. After trying on pants that couldn't button up causing "camel toe" effect forced me to have a harsh, but truthful reality check. Sorry sista, but "camel toe" will never be a future trend.

Simple and tres chique - LOVE THIS RUG!

Loving this rug! How crazy is this. I saw this online and thought to myself, damn that's a HOT rug. I walked into the store today and they are flipping their store - getting rid of floor samples so they can make room for their new stuff. I'm the bomb and found this rug (Scarlet Rug) hanging discounted to $112 dollars, originally priced at $449! So basically 75% off. It's not stained, ghetto or messed up.

Retainers - Straight Fashion!

I can say that I've had a couple of hideous colorful retainers to keep my teeth in place. I wore a headgear with rubberbands and metal braces. After 4 years of wearing them, I was happy to have my teeth out of prison and I was then on parole and my Orthodontist (Dr.Poco - yep that was his name) was my Parole Officer.

MY NEW RUG!!

Earlier this week I came across an amazing steal! I stopped into EQ3 (modern furniture store - think CB2, West Elm, etc) merely to browse. No intention on spending any money. To my amazement, I found this brand new rug (regularly priced $449) on sale for $100. When they went to ring up the item, they found out it was mismarked - should be on sale for $300....luckily they gave it to me for the price they marked.

I LOVE it! The color is so soothing! Paired with my creme colored couch and dark brown ottoman/coffee table, my living room is coming to together. The lighter blue/grey color matches perfectly with my toss pillows! I'll post pics soon!

Apple introduced their revamped IPOD NANO yesterday in SF. Design wise, it is the thinnest it's ever been, but with a bigger screen it makes it more appealing to watch movies/tv shows/music videos. 9 colors to choose from It's like going to a candy store. Going into the apple store I know everyone is screaming inside - I WANT...WAH!

Need a great table book? I love this book - PORN FOR WOMEN by Susan Anderson. For some women, I'm sure seeing their man clean up after themself or having them being thoughtful once in awhile get them a little horny. Ha. You can find this picture book at your local Urban Outfitters and other book shops like Barnes & Noble. Porn for men = Women doing some crazy stuff with little clothing if at all.
