SHAKE IT UP - HOLY MOLY - A 5.8 EARTHQUAKE JUST HIT!

A moderate earthquake occurred at 11:42:15 AM (PDT) on Tuesday, July 29, 2008.
The magnitude 5.6 event occurred 3 km (2 miles) SW of Chino Hills, CA.

It felt like 2 minutes of shaking. Maybe it was only 15-30 secs, but it felt like a long long time! All i know was I almost crapped in my pants and went under my desk. My boss made all of us evacuate the building and said if we needed to go home beacuse we were distraught we could, but I think everyone feels safe.

Hearing reports people felt it up in Bakersfield, Las Vegas & San Diego.

I'll be watching the news later tonight to find out the details and the damage done. Hope everyone is safe!
